Job Description

The Project Assistant, who will work in a diverse team under the direct supervision of the Programme Coordinator and Functional Supervision of the Project Lead of the Gandaki Basin Climate Resilient Project, GCF, will be in charge of carrying out project activities and providing administrative and reporting support to the PESU.

  • Assist the project manager with tasks pertaining to the project, PESU administrative duties, and the validation of requests for advances and payment settlements from consultants and project personnel, among other things.
  • Determining the administrative requirements for running the Project Execution Support Unit (PESU) and ensuring its efficient operation.
  • Support the coordination of efforts between different consultants and experts to deliver the project’s activities, including the project’s liquidity planning.
  • Aid in the management of inventory and procurement.
  • assistance with organizing training sessions, workshops, and events, as well as related administrative support
  • coordinating activities with the project’s administrative assistant (based on department).
  • assistance with the program and corporate team’s necessary review of the partner’s finances and reporting
  • any additional duties that the line manager assigns


  • A Nepali citizen with minimum 3 years of experience for Bachelor level education and minimum 7 years for intermediate level.
  • Experience of working in GEF, GCF Projects would be an added advantage
  • Fluent in Local language and working English
