Actress Alexandra Daddario is proud to show off her body six days after giving birth.

Daddario, 38, welcomed her baby with husband Andrew Form on Halloween. The two have not disclosed the baby’s name or gender.

The Mayfair Witches actress posted a full-body photo of herself holding her baby, via her Instagram channel on Wednesday, November 13.

“I play a witch on TV and gave birth on Halloween, but nothing could have prepared me for the magic, and scares, of postpartum,” she wrote in the caption. “THIS is what it looks like for me 6 days after giving birth to my magical little baby. Women’s bodies are amazing and I’ve never felt more proud of mine. So much love to all the new moms out there leaning into their new powers.”

This isn’t the first time that Daddario has shared intimate details of her pregnancy journey. She first revealed she was pregnant with a rainbow baby in a July interview with Vogue in which she discussed how her pregnancy was “hard to process.”

“I feel like now that I’m pregnant and it’s all successful and everything’s healthy, I shouldn’t complain,” Daddario said.

She also explained that her previous loss was painful, but that it was tough to describe to someone who had not been through it.

“It’s long and complicated, so I don’t want to be too specific,” Daddario said. “Those kinds of losses and trauma are very hard to explain unless you’ve been through them. I really relate to all the women who have been through those kinds of things in a way that I didn’t understand fully before. It’s very, very painful.”

Daddario’s pregnancy coincided with filming Mayfair Witches season 2, which is set to premiere in January 2025.

“I was so overwhelmed with work,” she said. “Part of me was like, ‘This is the worst thing ever.’ Then part of me was like, ‘This is actually a great distraction.’ Because I’m not sitting there all day long in my house going, ‘If I pick up this pot to make pasta, is something bad going to happen? If I eat this pasta, is something bad going to happen?’”

She continued, “I was on set, and I was throwing up and having makeout scenes with my costars right after. By week five, I was like, ‘There’s no way I’m going to be able to hide this.’”

Daddario is also stepmom to Form’s two kids, Rowan, 10, and Julian, 8, from his previous marriage to Jordana Brewster. The two were married from 2007 to 2021.
