Alia Bhatt’s last collaboration with versatile director Sanjay Leela Bhansali was in ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and it was a success in all terms. And now, the actress is teaming up again with Bhansali for a new project called ‘Love & War’, co-starring Vicky Kaushal and Ranbir Kapoor. Recently, Alia was seen heading to Bhansali’s office in Mumbai, likely for a meeting about the upcoming film.
As Alia was spotted at the office, she greeted the paparazzi with a smile and wave.For the casual meeting, she wore a vibrant neon yellow shirt, blue relaxed-fit jeans, and white block heels, which added a stylish touch to her look. Her hair was tied in a neat bun.
Bhansali’s directorial ‘Love and War’ was initially set for a Christmas 2025 release but, according to reports, it will now hit theaters on March 20, 2026. This film marks the reunion of Ranbir Kapoor and Bhansali after ‘Saawariya’. Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal will be working with the acclaimed director for the first time in this highly anticipated project.
It was announced in January 2024 through a post on Instagram, with a comment, “We Bring You Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Epic Saga ‘Love & War.’ See You At The Movies Christmas 2025.”
Meanwhile, Alia’s upcoming action film ‘Jigra‘ alongside Vedang Raina will hit the big screens on October 11.
Earlier, the trailer for ‘Jigra’ was unveiled on September 26, featuring Alia Bhatt as an elder sister who is shown protective of her brother, played by Vedang Raina. The trailer, directed by Vasan Bala, has received praise from fans and filmmakers alike. Director Sujoy Ghosh lauded the trailer in a post on Twitter, “You saw the Jigra trailer? Feels so good to exist in the times of Alia Bhatt.”
Adding more to the work note, Alia Bhatt has also begun filming for Yash Raj Films’ spy drama ‘Alpha’, alongside Sharvari Wagh.
