One of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ accusers has been revealed as Anna Kane.

Anna, who was married to Edmonton Oilers hockey star Evander Kane between 2018 and 2021, previously filed a sexual assault lawsuit against Diddy, 55, in 2023 under the anonymous moniker Jane Doe. She amended her petition earlier this month, according to multiple outlets, and used her real name.

“I had hoped to use a pseudonym in pursuing justice for what happened to me as a teenager,” Anna told Us Weekly in a Saturday, December 7, statement. “Defendants’ demand that I use my name was an attempt to intimidate me, but I am not intimidated. I am prepared to proceed and hold accountable those who have harmed me.”

Us confirmed in December 2023 that “Jane Doe” sued Diddy in the Southern District of New York, claiming that she was sex-trafficked and gang-raped by the rapper and his associates in 2008. Anna was 17 years old at the time.

INF/INSTAR Sean “Diddy” Combs has been under investigation for at least a year after being accused of sexual assault by multiple people. The rapper and music mogul, 54, made headlines in November 2023 after his ex-girlfriend Cassie accused him of sexual abuse in a bombshell lawsuit. She accused Diddy of beating her, forcing her to […]

Diddy vehemently denied the allegations.

“ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy,” he told Us in a statement in September. “Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”

Diddy filed to dismiss Doe’s lawsuit in May, claiming that the “alleged incident” never occurred.

Diddy was later indicted by a grand jury in September and then arrested for sex trafficking, racketeering, conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. A 14-page indictment claimed that Diddy “abused, threatened and coerced women and others around him” for decades.

The disgraced music mogul pleaded not guilty to the charges and was remanded to Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center until his trial in early 2025. A judge denied him bail on four separate appeals.

“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo told Us in a September statement. “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children and working to uplift the Black community. He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal.”

The statement concluded, “To his credit, Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
